This is not a place one would go for the ambiance or the service but would only visit for the fine taste they offer
I being from Hyderabad tried the chat here in Bikanervala for the first time.
Pau Bhaaji
I did not like it.
The bhaaji had a very homely feel to it(except for the amount of oil used) where you could taste boiled potato which justified the price. I am used to having more of street side pau bhaaji and back home the bhaaji is totally different, lemon juice is added to it, onions, coriander and Amul butter and the bhaji is a fine paste. The taste is totally different.
Chole Bhature.
First things first, I found the chole dry and with the Bhatura, I personally like to have some gravy. The quantity was insufficient for me to finish my Bhatura, I left half of it as I didn't have more chole. The chole tasted fine not something out of ordinary. Again I think in terms of taste it can be improved.
(I have never visited their branch in Hyderabad so can't really compare in terms of taste)
